Generated Graphical Interface Design of the Normality Bands of the 2D Equine Kinematics

The main objective of this study was to design and validate a graphical user interface (GUI) to facilitate the evaluation of joint kinematics 2D horses, allow performing statistical calculations on a study population (mean and standard deviation), and generate bands of normality that represent the angular movement of the major joints and the height of the thoracic and pelvic coronas during the gait cycle. The design of the generator interface allows working bands sequentially, store the results in a computer for future reference and incorporate new evidence in a band previously generated, and therefore increase the studied population. This tool will provide the basis for future research on equine gait.
